Lettings Negotiator: What this entails

Ultimately, your job is to be the first point-of-call for our Lettings customers; both our Landlords and Tenants. One day you’ll be advising a Landlord on their best opportunities for return on investment, the next you’ll be conducting Tenancy viewings and processing successful applications. No one day will be the same!

You`ll be based from our Belfast branch, offering expert advice about the lettings process, local market conditions and showcasing the wider CPS Property Group Services, as a `one stop shop` for the Landlord. You’ll also be a key in the coordination of everything to support our Tenancies; arranging rent payments, processing applications and everything in between.

You carry a passion for property – with Estate Agent experience as a bonus! You strive to provide excellent customer service. You find it easy to organise, plan and problem-solve. You`re able to credibly engage and influence because you understand the routes to market for our Landlord customers. You`re thorough and precise in what you do; clearly communicating with everyone around you at all stages of a deal. You`re a car driver, You`re fine with committing to weekend time for one Saturday both month on a Rota bases.

Accounts / Business / Finance Specific Placement Student

Duties to include:

  • Working closely with the Managing Director
  • Managing budgets
  • Dealing with cash flows
  • Deal with landlords’ monthly management reports
  • Working closely with the company auditor in all aspects of the company’s finances
  • Management of online BACS & Accounts
  • Play an important role in the company’s growth plans & become involved in existing business structures
  • Viewings, negotiations and diary management.

Successful Applicant must have:

  • Clean driving licence
  • 3 A-levels at Grade C or above or BTEC National Diploma in relevant discipline
  • Minimum of Grade C at GCSE in English Language & Mathematics
  • A keen interest in social media would be desirable

Other Information:

  • Hours of work: 40 hours per week (the successful applicant will also be required to work (Saturday mornings on a rota basis).
  • Duration of placement:  12 months.
  • Annual Leave:  Statutory 28 days to include all public/bank holidays and additional days that CPS are closed.
  • Placement office in our Belfast branch located @ 164 Lisburn Road.
  • Reside within a 15-mile radius of office.
  • Commencement of placement gap year post: c.01.07.18.
