Located just over 58km from Malaga International Airport and 6km from the centre of Marbella. The coastal bus route runs along the main road linking Banus with the rest of the Costa. Puerto Banus takes its name from the architect Jose Banus who designed the town in 1970. The original design was for a luxury marina and shopping centre. Since then the resort has developed to become a party place for the rich and famous with its numerous exclusive beach clubs and beaches and the hectic nightlife of VIP clubs and music venues.
